NATRUE
Natural cosmetics are not always natural cosmetics. NATRUE is the first internationally recognised quality seal for organic and natural cosmetics and thus creates clarity in the label ‘jungle’. Any products featuring the label of NATRUE guarantee the highest standards.
Each product is inspected by independent certification companies and the non-profit organisation NATRUE monitors the quality of the criteria. The first Weleda products, featuring the NATRUE label came on the market in the spring of 2009.
Vegan
Products that are marked as vegan don’t contain any raw materials derived from animals.
All Weleda cosmetic products and foods are suitable for vegetarians abstaining from meat and fish. However, a contact of these products and their raw materials to material of animal origin during the manufacturing process cannot be ruled out entirely.
Products that are not marked as vegan contain raw materials derived from animals like bees wax, and its derivatives, lanolin, goat milk and/or lactose in natural cosmetic products or honey in elixirs.

Description
When nothing but intensive care is needed, here is indulgence and effectiveness in one gentle treatment. Organic almond oil is delicately blended with extracts of blackthorn blossom, to create a light, quickly-absorbed film that soothes irritation and reduces sensitivity. This gently nourishing and protecting treatment can be used as pampering care, for occasional protection in cold weather, or to remove eye makeup.

Prunus Domestica Seed Oil
The yellow Prunus Domestica Seed Oil is a light oil that has got a marzipan-like aroma and it is absorbed easily by the skin, leaving it feeling soft and silky. It improves the barrier function of the skin and is therefore ideal for sensitive and dry skin. Similar to the Sweet Almond and Peach Kernel Oil, it comprises of a high content of unsaturated fatty oils, such as oil and linolenic acid.

Blackthorn contains flavonoids. Extracts of blackthorn are suitable as ingredients of care products for sensitive skin.
