The gentle Rosa Moschata Seed Oil (also called Wild Rose Oil) consists of plenty of linoleic acid, a polyunsaturated fatty acid that is easily absorbed by the skin. Thus, the pale-yellow to orange-red oil leaves the skin feeling soft and velvety. It is therefore an effective plant oil for sensitive, dry and cracked skin.

Water is the foundation of the water phase and solvent for hydrophilic (water-loving) substances.

The light-yellow to yellow Apricot Kernel Oil is a light oil, which is easily absorbed by the skin and leaves the skin feeling soft and silky. It improves the barrier function of the skin and therefore it is ideal for the attention of sensitive and dry skin. Similar to the Sweet Almond and Peach Kernel Oil, it comprises of a high content of unsaturated fatty oils, such as oil and linoleic acid.

Glycerin is a natural ingredient in vegetable and animal fats and oils, which mainly consists of triglycerides (compound of glycerol with three fatty acids). In cosmetic products glycerin is used as a moisturising agent due to its hygroscopic (water-attracting) properties. Besides that, it helps with the distribution of O/W emulsions (oil-in-water-emulsions) and it smoothes and protects the skin.

Jojoba Seed Oil is an oily liquid wax that is very similar to the protective layer of the human skin. At the same time, it supports the barrier function of the skin. Thereby it protects the skin against water loss without leaving it greasy. It is very skin friendly, easily absorbed and is therefore a suitable care product for all skin types, especially for dry skin. It is also very suitable as a foundation oil, which does not go off.

Glyceryl Stearate Citrate is an emulsifier that can be used in both O/W emulsions (oil-in-water emulsions) and in W/O emulsions (water-in-oil-emulsions). It is produced from various vegetable oils and citric acid. The emollients of Glyceryl Stearate Citrate leave the skin feeling soft, silky and smooth.

Betaine is an amino acid derivative and occurs both in plants and in the human organism. In cosmetic products, Betaine is used as a moisturiser in products for the skin as well as the hair, as it is able to absorb and release water. Betaine is obtained from sugar molasses.
