Replenishing Hand Cream – Sea Buckthorn

It has a great antioxidative effect, skin caring properties and is an ideal carrier oil for active agents. It comprises of a high content of unsaturated fatty oils, such as oil and linolenic acid, as well as phytosterols and Vitamin E (esp. gamma-tocopherol).

The orange-yellow to red Sea Buckthorn Oils are valuable active substance oils that are characterised by a high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and carotenoids. Sea Buckthorn Oils have regenerating, antioxidant and intensive skin care properties.

Lysolezithin is an emulsifier that is used for stabilising O/W emulsions (oil-in-water-emulsions). Lysolecithin is also a modified lecithin that is derived from vegetable oils. It restores the natural oils of the skin.

Beeswax is a precipitate of bees' wax glands, which is used to build the honeycombs. The wax melts at a temperature of over 60°C. The skin-friendly beeswax is mainly used as an emulsifying agent and to improve consistency. Beeswax leaves a fine film on the skin, which prevents it from drying out.

Glyceryl Stearate SE is an emulsifier that is especially used for stabilising the O/W emulsions (oil-in-water-emulsions). It is produced from various vegetable oils. Glyceryl Stearate SE also helps to smoothen and soften the skin, leaving behind a supple light feeling.
