This rich cream soothes your hands from dryness, softens skin and protects brittle nails. The lemon tree lives a long time, and it has a unique ability to flower, fruit and grow all at once. Weleda knows this makes organic lemon oil the perfect ingredient for a cream that replenishes while it refreshes. The invigorating citrus scent is entirely natural and its carefully selected formulation of beneficial ingredients such as precious calendula and viola extracts, the cream leaves even chapped skin noticeably smooth. Natural carnauba and wool wax protect fragile nails and fine almond oil keeps the cuticle well-cared thus supporting growth of healthy strong nails. Hands up who feels better!

Lanolin's consistency and composition is very similar the human skin sebum. It is gained from raw wool after the shearing of sheep. The wax is able to bind water and has a high water absorption capacity. It is therefore particularly suitable as an ingredient for products for the attention of dry and rough skin, and products in the nappy area.
Glycerin

Glycerin is a natural ingredient in vegetable and animal fats and oils, which mainly consists of triglycerides (compound of glycerol with three fatty acids). In cosmetic products glycerin is used as a moisturising agent due to its hygroscopic (water-attracting) properties. Besides that, it helps with the distribution of O/W emulsions (oil-in-water-emulsions) and it smoothes and protects the skin.

Hyddrolyzed Beeswax is an ingredient that is gained from beeswax. It is mainly used as a protecting wax component to improve consistency and to stabilize the emulsion. The slight emulsifying effect of beeswax is reinforced with Hydrolyzed Beeswax.
