NATRUE
Natural cosmetics are not always natural cosmetics. NATRUE is the first internationally recognised quality seal for organic and natural cosmetics and thus creates clarity in the label ‘jungle’. Any products featuring the label of NATRUE guarantee the highest standards.
Each product is inspected by independent certification companies and the non-profit organisation NATRUE monitors the quality of the criteria. The first Weleda products, featuring the NATRUE label came on the market in the spring of 2009.

Description
A mouth that’s out of balance means sore and bleeding gums, nasty tastes and bad breath. Ratanhia roots, gathered from organic producers in the Andes of Peru, are blended with precious myrrh to tone, strengthen and tighten the gums and to prevent irritation. Natural essential oils of sage, eucalyptus and peppermint deliver lasting freshness.

The Krameria Triandra Root Extract contains many tannins that have an astringent (tanning) effect, e.g. to the oral mucosa. Therefore, the dark brown root extract is a particularly suitable ingredient for mouth and dental care products.

Magnesium sulfate, also known as Epsom salts has a stabilising effect especially in W/O emulsions (water-in-oil-emulsions) and improves the consistency of the emulsion. In our oral care products we use a highly diluted form of the mineral magnesium sulfate which according to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature helps to support the substance formation of the teeth and gums.
