Weleda has embodied sustainable development since 1921. Sustainability underpins everything Weleda does, from the acquisition of naturally grown raw materials, how these are processed and packaged as cosmetic, dietetic or pharmaceutical products and then, ultimately sold.
Sustainability Strategy
Weleda developed a group wide sustainability strategy, which defines the concrete goals and measures. The environmentally friendly sourcing of raw materials, Biodynamic® cultivation, climate neutrality, water conservation and employee development are the core themes of Weleda's sustainability strategy.
